CDL Announces Major Improvements to its I.T.

CDL have started the New Year on a high with the news that major improvements to its internet based management system IFS (Integrated Fulfilment System) are being rolled out, and with all planned improvements expected to be complete within the next three months.

Improvements to the fulfillment system will allow for a more advanced service for both its UK based and International customers. This includes Fast Track Picking, which will enable the picker to pre-sort items providing a better and more efficient service, and also improves accuracy. Other key changes will see users able to create their own bespoke reports and easily identify their top products. As before, IFS will continue to provide around the clock access to stock details, order processing and parcel delivery reports on storage and distribution services.

Many more important developments still in the pipeline, and with the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations and Olympic Games set to take over London in the summer of 2012, our customers can be rest-assured that CDL will offer the best service on storage of products in its secure Warehouses around the M25, and of course a timely and efficient service on parcel delivery.
